Six ferrules used for rear mounting strings on an electric guitar
These can be mounted in holes drilled part way through the underside of a guitar to allow bottom loading bridges to be used. The ferrules give a solid fixing for the strings and ensure the string tension is transferred direct to the body of the guitar.
Each ferrule measures 11mm long.
The external diameter of the ferrule is 6.5mm.
The diameter of the flange on top of the ferrule is 8mm.
The internal diameter of the hole at the top for inserting the string and nut is 6mm.
The internal diameter of the hole at the botton ( through which the string must pass but not the nut is 2mm.
