There is an ivory trim fitted along both edges and across the bridge end of the neck.
Small black position markers are fitted along the top edge of the neck.
The necks require no preparation, they are heavily laquered and sealed andrn ready for fitting to a guitar body of your own design, or as a replacement for a bent or broken neck.

The necks are fitted with an adjuatable steel truss rod.
The neck fits into a slot which is 56mm wide at the widest point. rnAt that point the neck is around 26mm thick.
