6 ACOUSTIC GUITAR BRIDGE PINS WHITE WITH BLACK DOT — premium-quality part from Janika.co.uk. This is a set of six good quality hard plastic bridge pins.
The bridge pins each have a slot along the tepered part to take the string.
The diameter at the thin end of the pin shaft is 4mm. The diameter at top of the taper is 5.1mm.
The length of each pin is 33mm.
These bridge pins will fit most acoustic guitar bridges,
but you should be aware that some bridges use a non-standard size of bridge pins,
so it is always best to measure the existing bridge pins to check that these replacements will fit.
Acoustic bridge pins are used to hold the end of the acoustic guitar string firmly against the acoustic bridge plate.
When restringing the guitar the ball end of the string should be seated firmly against the underside of the bridge plate.
To fit a new string you should first place the ball (or nut) end of the string in the pin hole,
then put the bridge pin in the hole
and pull the string up until the ball is firmly held against the bridge plate. You can then push the pin tightly down.
Correct fitrting of the bridge pin will stop the string from slipping as the string is tightened.
Designed for reliable daily use, it offers dependable performance and peace of mind for studio, stage and home setups. Compatible with standard fittings where applicable; perfect as a replacement, spare or upgrade for musicians and builders.
